With hundreds of miles of world class mountain bike trails across the high desert and red rock canyon country of western Colorado, the Fruita Fat Tire festival is a celebration of great Mountain biking!

The 2010 Sea Otter Classic is just around the corner. Turner Bikes is in the middle of getting everything in order to insure a great trip.

We are planning on unveiling something that may be quite unexpected, something with a lot less travel and under the right legs very fast. . . Although not for everyone, this bike is pushing the limits of its bike class in only the way that David Turner could imagine. Stop by our booth at the Sea Otter and get Davids take on why this bike is the bike for 2010!

This Sunday, April 11, is the SoCal Interscholastic Cycling League's 3rd race this season out at Lake Arrowhead California.

Come out to see the Lake Arrowhead Challenge 2010, The first two races have seen over 160 high school racers each and some tight battles are shaping up! See the best of high school cycling on display!

Turner Bikes will be out there with Demo Turners to try on Saturday and showing our support for the SoCal League on Sunday. Turner Bikes has made a commitment to do our part in supporting the SoCal Interscholastic Cycling League and all of the High School students involved.

This Weekend, March 26-27, is the Big National MTB Event in little Fontana California. . .

If you live in Southern California then come down and check out the event and show your support for Turner Bikes. . . On Saturday February 6th of 2010, the San Diego Mountain Biking Association [ SDMBA ] held a Volunteer Appreciation Gala for all of the hard workers who donated their time to help maintain and build MTB trails throughout San Diego County. Special recognition went to the sole person who had accrued the most volunteered hours in 2009. Erik Mikelson was honored with this distinction and was awarded a $1,000 gift certificate by David Turner for his hard work.

Congratulations Erik and we here at Turner Bikes hope you will soon find yourself riding a new Turner down a trail you helped save!

It is now 2010!! And to start the New Year off right, Turner Bikes would like to Thank All of the Turner Riders and Supporters who have stood by us all these years. Since without these valued soldiers of life, we would have far fewer wares to offer and then still much less to be proud of.

Since we are loved and we would like to return the love so this is our promise to you. We will strive to continue to offer the best possible customer service with all the warmth and consideration you would expect from us, We will spend every day and night toiling over every micron of our bikes on how to improve them to far exceed all of your expectations on your trails and then We will still promise to never forget why we pour so much love and devotion into our bikes. . . the feeling of flowing down our favorite trail as each breath of cool crisp air fills our lungs, the nirvana we feel every time we ride. Our Promise is from riders to riders.

For those valued soldiers of life who ride a Turner Bike, Thank You and take our wishes for a positive and prosperous new year with you as you fight the good fight. Enjoy life as every day unfolds.

2009 is coming to a close and now is the time we start thinking about this past year. Remembering the great rides we had and the bad ones. Thinking about all the things we had hoped to accomplish and whether next year will be the year to get everything done. In hindsight, things can look a little blurry as we try to remember all the details. . .

But above all, one memory has survived untarnished. The Riders spoke out on mtbr.com and the Turner Sultan was voted the Best 29er of 2009. This is the Sultan's second consecutive year with this esteemed title.

The Riders chose the bike that made this year better with memories of rocketing down winding single track. Feeling the clean crisp air fill their lungs as they pushed through each climb. The narrowly missed crashes and the stories that unfolded with each ride. The Turner Sultan is the tool of choice for our escape from reality, sanctuary from the stressors of each of life's days.

For those lucky souls to ride a Turner Sultan this year, remember why you spoke out and chose the Sultan as your ride of the year. For those of you who are riding another 29er, now is the time to think back and wonder how much better this year could have been with the riders choice of the year as your steed.
